Overview

The International Trade Fair brought together thousands of visitors across multiple tracks, from conferences to cultural events. Navigating such a large-scale program proved difficult for many, particularly farmers and international delegates who required real-time translation and contextual information. Exhibitors, too, needed an efficient way to share stall and product details without overwhelming the helpdesk. On top of this, the Government wanted to showcase a digital-first engagement layer that would demonstrate India's commitment to innovation and technology.

To address these challenges, we developed Milli, an AI-powered chatbot designed as a conversational guide. Accessible through mobile and kiosks, Milli answered frequently asked questions on schedules, logistics, and registration. We also integrated smart navigation tools, including detailed maps of the Palace Grounds with stall and session directories. Recognising the diversity of participants, Milli supported multiple languages ensuring inclusivity for local farmers as well as global visitors. To keep audiences engaged, we added interactive prompts such as "Did you know?" facts about millets, organics, and sustainability. Finally, the solution was built with government-grade security standards, ensuring full compliance with data privacy and IT protocols.

In a nutshell, we AI-empowered the conference with:

  • Conversational AI Guide: Built Milli, a chatbot accessible via mobile and kiosks, answering FAQs about event schedule, venue logistics, and registration.
  • Smart Navigation: Integrated maps of the Palace Grounds with stall and session directories.
  • Bilingual/Multilingual Support: Supported English, Hindi, Kannada and 16 other languages to serve local farmers and international guests alike.
  • Engagement Design: Added fun "Did you know?" prompts about millets, organics, and sustainability to keep audiences engaged between queries.
  • Government-Grade Security: Ensured compliance with data privacy and government IT protocols.

The introduction of Milli, our AI-powered chatbot, holds special significance. By guiding visitors through the event, answering queries in real time, and supporting multiple languages, Milli ensured that no participant - whether a local farmer, global policymaker, or curious citizen - was left behind. This is how India is harnessing technology with empathy to make large-scale public events more accessible and engaging.
